Closure of Servers

After much thought and reflection, I’ve decided it’s time to bring this chapter to a close. The servers will be shutting down on January 1, 2025. This wasn’t an easy choice, but as my priorities have shifted, I feel it’s time to focus on other aspects of my life, especially with the server contracts ending in December.

Managing these servers has been an incredible journey, filled with both challenges and achievements. It’s been an honor to build something meaningful for this community and to collaborate with so many talented individuals. I am genuinely grateful for everyone who contributed to keeping things running — from server maintenance to plugins and the countless tasks behind the scenes. Your support has been truly invaluable.

Operating these servers has required a substantial investment of time, resources, and energy. While I’ve strived to provide the best experience possible, it’s now time for me to focus on my own well-being and new pursuits. This decision wasn’t taken lightly, but I believe it’s the right path forward.

As we approach this ending, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who’s been part of this journey. Though the servers will be going offline, the memories we’ve created together will remain, and I hope they hold as much meaning for you as they do for me.

At this time, there are no plans to reopen the servers. If this changes in the future, I’ll be sure to let the community know.

• Will you provide guidance on setting up or managing a server?

I’m sorry, but I won’t be able to assist with server setup or management. The process is time-intensive, and stepping away fully means I can’t commit to this. However, there are many community forums and guides online to help you get started.

• Can I still reach out for advice on server configuration?

I’m available for advice for now, but as I step back, I may not stay current on server configurations. For more consistent support, I suggest visiting the active community on SirPlease's Discord.

• What will happen to the SourceBans list after the servers close?

The future of the SourceBans list is still undecided. I understand it’s important to some, so I’ll provide an update before the servers go offline.
